About Tyda Nature Camp Visakhapatnam (Vizag)

Tyda Jungle Bells at a distance of 40 Kms from Araku, 70 Kms from Visakhapatnam (Vizag) & 632 Kms from Hyderabad, Tyda is a small tribal village nestling in the wooded hills of the Eastern Ghats between Visakhapatnam (Vizag) and Araku Valley. Also called Jungle Bells, the nature camp has facilities for trekking, rock climbing, bird watching and target shooting with bow & arrows. This ecotourism destination is home for a variety of animals and birds. With the assistance of naturalists or guides within the camp, one will learn the language of the jungle, identification of calls, marks etc.

The path that leads to this beautiful ecotourism project is equally charming and attractive. The lush green fields, plantations and farms are breathtakingly beautiful. There is even a train ride that guests will go to reach the forest resort. This ride is captivating and enthralling as the train meanders through dense forests, tunnels and hillocks. Jungle Bells is spread over a five-acre area and features 18 beautifully furnished cottages. The surrounding forest is swarming with a good array of life.

Visitors also can enjoy hiking, trekking, bird looking at and visiting tribal group hamlets placed at intervals in the forest. Trains between Visakhapatnam (Vizag) and Araku stop at Tyda. Tatipudi Reservoir is about 25 kms from Tyda, which is connected by many buses.
